Peace Corner. Rain or shine (bring rain gear if needed). Come join Peace Fresno at the corners of Blackstone and Shaw to witness for peace and tell motorists to call Congress to end the war.

Saturday, March 15, 1- 4PM
Peace Fresno and other community groups will sponsor the Rally in the Valley for Peace and Justice . . . NOW!. This event will be held at Eaton Plaza in downtown Fresno on March 15 from 1-4 p.m. There will be information tables, speakers, music, and a peace/justice march. The march begins at 1:00 p.m., so come early and listen to music (starts at 12:30 p.m.). If you or your organization would like to endorse, co-sponsor and/or table, or if you would like to volunteer, contact Scott at president@peacefresno.org or (559) 487-2515.

CSUF’s Women Study program sponsored presentation. Dr. Nehzat Farnoodi speaking in Farsi on “The grassroots strategy movement of Iranian women in Iran and outside the country.” Fort Washington Elementary School, 960 E. Teague.
Fashion Fair Mall: Peace Fresno has begun to table at Fashion Fair Mall. We hope to table once/month but need to negotiate dates with the mall administration. We are required to submit a list of names of participants. So, if you are interested in volunteering, please contact Dan Yaseen at 251-3361 or danyaseen@comcast.net
Counter Recruitment: Peace Fresno is a member of the Central Valley Counter Recruitment Coalition which visits Fresno high schools to distribute literature and talk with kids about alternatives to military service.
