Join members of Peace Fresno at the Female Leadership Academy, a project of Advocacy Coalition of Tulare County (ACT) for Women and Girls. The event takes place at the College of the Sequoias in Visalia. The CSUF Women’s Studies Program is planning to charter a bus for the day. Gathering for Peace, Justice and Reconciliation for Tibet and China. Come join others at the Peace Garden at CSU Fresno at 7 pm. There will be relaxed parking in Lots K and L. This event will include music, speakers and reflection. It is co- sponsored by Campus Peace, Fresno Center for Nonviolence, WILPF, Peace Fresno and others. Amy Goodman comes to Fresno. Peace Fresno has canceled its meeting. The Unitarian Universalist Social Justice Committee and KFCF 88.1 FM are co-sponsoring the event. Counter Recruitment: Peace Fresno is a member of the Central Valley Counter Recruitment Coalition which visits Fresno high schools to distribute literature and talk with kids about alternatives to military service.
