Counter Recruitment: Peace Fresno is a member of the Central Valley Counter Recruitment Coalition which visits Fresno high schools to distribute literature and talk with kids about alternatives to military service. Empty Your Drawers. Social Action Justice and Dawa (SAJAD) is collecting donations of new and used clothing for the homeless in Fresno. The idea is to collect the clothes by April 25 for distribution on May 4. For more information, contact Teresa at (559) 360-2699 or teresab81@yahoo.com.
