Guidelines for a Peaceful, Positive Day

(Borrowed from Indivisible)

  • Do not engage with counter-protesters. For everyone’s safety, please do not respond or interact, no matter how upsetting their words may be. We haven’t seen many counter protesters recently, but if any appear, ignoring them usually makes them leave. If someone near you reacts, gently encourage them to stay calm and disengage.

  • Stay on the sidewalk. Be mindful of pedestrians, including those using wheelchairs or walkers, and allow them to pass safely.

  • Keep driveways and streets clear. Don’t block driveways, enter the street, or lean or wave signs into traffic. Always be alert when crossing driveways.

  • Respect property. Please avoid walking through or standing in landscaping and do not damage any property.

  • Leave no trace. Pick up any trash before you leave so we can leave the area clean and welcoming for the community.

!We're so glad you're joining us
