Peace Fresno is very concerned about the rising number of attacks on Muslims in the U.S. While the attack on the Sikh man in Fresno this week was not an attack on a Muslim, it well could have been. We have begun discussing meaningful responses to the growing Islamophobia. If you have suggestions, please reply to this email and we will contact you.

Write a SHORT note to your favorite presidential candidate about what is important to you. Sample notes follow. Here are 5 good ideas from

1. Reduce military spending, invest at home.

2. Use diplomacy first.

3. Abide by international law – no unauthorized wars.

4. Work toward a no-nukes, peaceful world.

5. Promote women in peacemaking.

Be sure to put your return address on the note or envelope.
